Policies And Procedures

Smoking Policy

Because we recognize the hazards caused by exposure to environmental tobacco smoke, it is the policy of the Millrose Center to provide a smoke-free environment for all employees, clients and visitors.  This policy prohibits the smoking of any tobacco product and the use of oral tobacco products or “spit” tobacco within 25 feet of the facility, and applies to clients, employees and non-employee visitors to Millrose Center.

Illness and Vaccination Policy

Illness

Millrose Center discourages staff, clients and visitors who are ill from visiting Millrose Center or attending any associated activities and events if they are displaying any influenza-like symptoms.  It is recommended that individuals refrain from coming into contact with others until they are free of fever for at least 24 hours.

Staff or clients who display influenza-like symptoms may be sent home.  Those who display symptoms and refuse to leave after being asked to do so may be subject to disciplinary action.
